The cape and skirt are made of a rich, red satin. The sash is made of black satin. It is accented with black lace and grosgrain ribbon ties.

The cape is full with a ribbon tie in front, at the neck. It has 2 rows of black lace around the entire edge and a second row toward the bottom of the cape. It is fully lined in black cotton.
