This beautiful 2 piece Civil War Ball gown is made of a rich deep red satin. The deep red is accented with wide, brocade ribbon and matching white lace.

There is wide, double edged white lace around the neckline, The sleeve bands are covered by lace, as well.

The bodice has an off the shoulder fit with full puffed sleeves. The neckline as been accented with white lace at both the top and bottom of the embroidered ribbon. The sleeves have been gathered onto a sleeve band, which has been accented with lace. The hemline has a deep v-shape in front with a narrower v in back. it is fully lined and closes with hidden hooks and eyes. The hemline has been hand finished.

The skirt is a full 180 inches. It has been accented with matching white and red brocade ribbon, in a historically correct pattern. It catches the light beautifully. It has been hand pleated onto a matching waistband. It has been hemmed to approximately 44 inches. It closes with hooks and eyes.

The gown, itself, measures waist of 28 inches with a bust of 36 inches
