The bodice is black broadcloth which is accented with burgundy venice lace. The skirt is a black and deep red wallpaper print cotton.

The bodice has a lovely square neckline with pagoda styled sleeves. The sleeves are accented with black taffeta eyelet lace. It closes with buttons down the front with black buttons.

the skirt is a full 180 inches around and has been hand pleated on a matching waistband. It has a tuck toward the hemline and has been hemmed to approximately 44 inches and closes with hooks and eyes.
